About us
History. Diversity. Vision.
From idea to worldwide success
61 years after it was first founded by Peter Dussmann, the Dussmann Group is doing better than ever. Starting with a good idea, we have developed into a global family company with some 68,200 motivated employees in 21 countries and 3 billion euros in sales. We are looking ahead to a promising fiscal year in 2024 as well, as we forge ahead with our next-level strategy and pursue our crystal-clear vision for the future of the Dussmann Group.
Part of this strategy is our constant exploration of innovations and megatrends such as New Work, digitalization, sustainability, and the demographic changes taking shape across society. On this basis, we supply our customers with precision-tailored solutions, all in service to the same credo we inherited from our founder, Peter Dussmann: "Identifying and serving people’s needs."
Strength through diversity
Diversity is very important to the Dussmann Group. This is reflected by the fact that our employees come from more than 120 different countries and by our worldwide locations as well as the diversified range of services offered by our sectors. They allow us to position ourselves as a robust and resilient family company on the global market.
The Dussmann Group is the umbrella organization for all of the various business activities conducted by Dussmann Stiftung & Co. KGaA, with its sectors of Dussmann, Kursana, Dussmann KulturKindergarten, and Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus.
We are always growing and evolving
Our founder’s can-do spirit and thirst for innovation are still reflected in the company’s vision today. We are also happy to partner with other companies to pool expertise together and present results that enjoy ongoing success.
