Changes in the Dussmann Group Executive Board
- Sebastian Kabak will become new board member for the Care & Kids division and chairman of the Kursana management board on January 1, 2025
Berlin, November 13, 2024 – Sebastian Kabak (42) will join the Dussmann Group Executive Board on January 1, 2025, and take over responsibility for the division Care & Kids, which comprises the business segments care for the elderly and childcare.
Dieter Royal, member of the Executive Board and CFO of the Dussmann Group, has held the position on an interim basis since the departure of Jörg Braesecke, who served on the board of Care & Kids for many years, at the end of 2023. Kabak will also become the new chairman of the Kursana management board. Since the beginning of the year, the role had been filled on an interim basis by Götz Leschonsky, the managing director of Kursana, in addition to his actual duties.
J“We are delighted that Sebastian Kabak, a highly experienced nursing expert, join Kursana”, said Catherine von Fürstenberg-Dussmann, Chairwoman of Dussmann Group's Board of Trustees.
“The care sector operates in a challenging market environment with difficult regulatory conditions – and it fulfills an enormously important task for our aging society. Together, we will continue to pursue the goals of the Dussmann Group's 'Road to 2030' strategy for the Care & Kids division. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Dieter Royal and Götz Leschonsky for taking on this additional responsibility during the interim phase,” said Wolf-Dieter Adlhoch, CEO of Dussmann Group.
