"We do not forget our DNA and values"

10.07.2023 — 60 years of the Dussmann Group - to mark the anniversary, the Tagesspiegel published a two-page anniversary interview with Catherine von Fürstenberg-Dussmann, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees.

The interview is about Peter Dussmann, the founding days of the company and his many ideas on the way to the current service portfolio of the Dussmann Group.

"We are constantly evolving and continuing our wonderful journey. In doing so, we are not forgetting our DNA and our values that the company's founder gave us," sums up Catherine von Fürstenberg-Dussmann.

"He trusted people. Trust is crucial," says Catherine von Fürstenberg-Dussmann about her husband. And, when asked about the current challenges in recruiting employees, she adds: "We enable people to develop and get ahead. People have to be able to develop in their work, then work is fun. Our employees now come from over 100 countries. Many people who have hardly any language skills and no training can start with us, learn on the job and develop by making them fit to use digital tools."
